The National Gallery Dublin hosts Masterpieces from Collection. A selection of the galleries finest works, the Dublin exhibition takes place on the Beit Wing from not until the end of the December 2014. Free admission.
Masterpieces from the Collection is a special presentation of some of the finest works in the Gallery?s collection, now open in the Beit Wing (Rooms 6-10). It includes a stunning selection of paintings from the European collection, from the early Renaissance through to the mid-twentieth century.
Masterpieces from the Collection consists of a selection of paintings from the European collection, from the early Renaissance through to the mid the 20th century. Highlights from the collection highlight Irish art from the eighteen century onwards and includes work by Hugh Douglas Hamilton, James Barry and many more.
A number of paintings from Jack B Yeats ( 1871 - 1957) are also on view as part of the Masterpieces Dublin exhibitions. They will be rotated on a regular basis to allow visitors more access to the large collection.
