Dublin: Guinness Storehouse Entry Ticket
More than a million people a year visit the home of Guinness. Take a self-guided tour of the Guinness Storehouse, learn all about world-famous Guinness Stout, and enjoy a complimentary pint.
St Patrick’s Cathedral has stood at the heart of Dublin for over 800 years, and stepping through its doors is like walking into a living history book. Founded in 1191 on the spot where tradition holds that Saint Patrick himself baptised converts on his visit to Dublin, this is Ireland’s largest cathedral and one of its most important pilgrimage sites.
The Gothic architecture is breathtaking - a soaring nave lined with pointed arches, intricate stained glass windows that fill the interior with colour, and medieval floor tiles that have been walked on for centuries. Among the many memorials and monuments, the most famous belong to Jonathan Swift, who served as Dean of the cathedral from 1713 to 1745. The author of Gulliver’s Travels is buried here alongside his companion Stella, and a collection of his personal artefacts - including his death mask and writing desk - is on display.
The cathedral also features a modern Discovery Space where interactive touchscreens and iPad stations bring the building’s long history to life. You can listen to recordings of the cathedral choir (one of the oldest in Ireland, dating back to 1432) and explore timelines that connect the cathedral to the major events of Irish history. Whether you are drawn by faith, architecture, literature or simply curiosity, St Patrick’s offers a genuinely moving experience that goes far beyond a typical tourist attraction.
