Wicklow has beautiful lakes, peatlands, valleys and lush green landscapes. It has been the setting for movies such as Braveheart, P.S. I Love You, Irish Wish and the television series Ballykissangel and Vikings. Itinerary

1. Drive through the beautiful unspoiled village of Hollywood and see it’s lush green hills surroundings. Watch out for the Hollywood sign. (pass by)
2. View the ancient ruins of Glendalough, a monastic site founded by St. Kevin over 1,500 years ago. (60 min)
3. Take a walk on a wooden path through the lakes, woodlands and drop inside the visitor centre to learn about the surrounding deer, sheep and mallards. (60 min)
4. Breathtaking views will be witnessed at Guinness Lake also known as Lough Tay. Scenes from the TV series Vikings and the movies such as Irish Wish were filmed here. (15 min)
5. Take photos of the beautiful surroundings where Gerard Butler and Hilary Swank fell for each other in the movie, P.S. I Love You. (15 min)
6. Drive the military road through the mountains, boglands, valleys and woods back towards Dublin City. (30 min)
7. View the beautiful Powerscourt House and Gardens. The gardens are rated no. 3 in the world by National Geographic. (75 min)
8. Optional visit: Visit a sheep farm and witness a Shepard use whistling techniques to direct sheep to different sections of his farm aided by his loyal companion. Hold a lamb and a puppy. (60 min)
