Itinerary

1. Join your Spanish speaking guide at our convenient central Dublin collection point (see booking calendar). We’ll soon be on our way and enjoy a picturesque drive across the green farmland of Ireland to bohemian Galway. (pass by)
2. All going smoothly, we expect to reach Galway city by late morning. You’ll enjoy approximately 1.5 hours in Galway. This ancient city is compact but there is a lot to see and do. Visit the Spanish Arch, Cathedral of Our Lady Assumed into Heaven, JFK Memorial Park at Eyre Square and colourful Shop Street. Shop for Claddagh Rings (Thomas Dillon on Quay Street) & Aran Sweaters (O’Maille’s on High Street). (90 min)
3. Your journey continues south past Galway Bay along the Wild Atlantic Way. The region you will travel through is called the Burren. It is a unique limestone region famous for lunar landscapes and incredible wildlife. Enjoy marvelous views of the iconic Irish landscape as we drive along the coast. (pass by)
4. Enjoy approximately 60 minutes at leisure in the tiny village of Doolin or Liscannor for lunch. You will find a range of delicious local options. (60 min)
5. We arrive at the world famous Cliffs of Moher, one of the world’s great natural attractions where you can enjoy a relaxed walk and breathtaking views. The Cliffs of Moher are 66% as tall as New York’s Empire State and stretch for almost 10km. Forming part of the edge of Western Europe, this landscape really is a “must see” on a visit to Ireland. You’ll enjoy approximately 90 minutes at the Cliffs of Moher, which is just the right amount of time according to the 175,000 passengers who travel with us annually! Your entrance fee (EUR 10.00) is included in the price of this tour. (90 min)
6. We’ll depart the Cliffs of Moher by late afternoon and make our way back to Dublin city. There will be a short stop in Birdhill, Co. Tipperary for a refreshment and restroom break. All going well, we expect to have you back in Dublin for approximately 20:30 in time for late dinner seatings and relaxation (tour finishes in the O’Connell Street / Temple Bar area). (pass by)
