The private tour begins with a sightseeing tour in Dublin City. Your local guide will share stories from Dublin past and present.

The Dublin/Wicklow mountains are breathtaking. The lush heather changes colour with the changing of the seasons. You will have time to admire the views and capture some memorable photos.

​Descend from the lush green mountains and arrive at Glendalough; a 6th-century monastic site. The area of Glendalough is nestled in a valley. You will have time to explore and go for a leisurely stroll along the waterway.

Itinerary

1. Meet & Greet at your accommodation. 1 hour sightseeing tour from Dublin city towards Co. Wicklow. Travel across the wild Wicklow mountains and enjoy the unspoiled landscape. (60 min)
2. Visit the Glendalough visitor’s centre to view many exhibits and Celtic crosses that are on display and learn the history of Saint Kevin’s 6th century monastic site.

Within the grounds of the monastic site are many old ruin churches and a round tower. Learn the history of the monks and thier teachings and also about the people who lived here.

Explore the grounds and the church ruins of the monastic settlement. View the bell tower that was built hundreds of years ago. These structures are part of Ireland’s architectural heritage. (120 min) 3. Powerscourt Gardens have been voted as the No.1 gardens to visit in Ireland. Set over 47 acres, the gardens are divided with separate themes and filled with sculpturers and statues. Explore the gardens and view the many sessional flower arrangement with tree lined avenues.
