1. Dublin Zoo, located in the Phoenix Park in the heart of Dublin city, is Ireland’s most popular family attraction. Opened in 1831, it is one of the world’s oldest and most popular zoos, home to some 400+ animals on 70 acres. It is a must see when visiting Dublin! (30 min)
2. Croke Park is a sports arena in the north of Dublin (Drumcondra). Croke Park is the headquarters of the major Irish sports organization, the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA). It is the largest stadium in Ireland and you can not miss the chance to visit! (30 min)
3. Mountjoy Square is a Georgian garden square in Dublin, Ireland. Although some of the original buildings fell to ruin over the 20th century and were eventually demolished, the new infill buildings were fronted with reproduction façades, so each side of the square maintains its appearance as a consistent Georgian terrace. This historical place is a must to see when visiting Dublin! (30 min)
4. Merrion Square is one of Dublin’s largest and grandest Georgian squares. On three sides are Georgian Houses and on the other the garden of Leinster House, and two museums. Many of the houses, predominantly used as office space, have plaques detailing the rich and famous who once lived in them, for example Daniel O’Connell and W.B.Yeats.
