Trim is a quaint heritage town and Trim Castle is a wonderful example of a medieval fortress built by the Anglo-Normans.

Itinerary

1. Our guide will bring you to Newgrange, a tomb older than the pyramids in Giza and Stonehenge in England (120 min)
2. Our Guide will walk you through the Hill of Tara which has a 5000 year old history. Your Guide will inform you of the history, archaeology, folklore and mythology of the site. (60 min)
3. Our Guide will walk you around the castle grounds which was built over 800 years ago. The castle was part of the movie set ‘Braveheart’. (15 min)
4. Trim town is a lovely old town with nice bars and restaurants. Here you can optionally have lunch at a local pub/restaurant. Lunch is not included in the price of the tour. (50 min)
