Itinerary

1. On this luxury private guided day tour, we travel from Dublin south through the majestic countryside, visiting Tipperary along the way, to see the Rock of Cashel. Its wonderful ruins date back to the 5th century. This wonderful castle was home of the ancient Kings of Munster (45 min)

We arrive in Blarney at lunch time, to visit the gardens and kiss the magical stone on top of the castle. Learn about the history of Blarney Castle and its myths and visit its wonderful gardens with 70 acres of parkland. You will also have some time for shopping at the world famous Blarney Woolen Mills, the largest store in Ireland, which is housed in Ireland’s oldest and most authentic Irish woollen mills. After visiting Blarney Castle, we will do a scenic tour of Cork City and you will have the opportunity to visit the “English Markets” (trading since 1788), one of Cork’s and Europe’s finest enclosed food markets.
