About This Tour
This tour takes you north from Dublin along the coast to Malahide Castle and Howth, covering two quite different sides of the city’s hinterland. The route is scenic from the start, passing through parkland and seaside villages.
Malahide Castle was owned by the Talbot family for 800 years, and the guided interior tour covers eight centuries of history along with the ghost stories that have accumulated along the way. The second stop is Howth, with the option of walking from the Summit down to the fishing harbour.
