About This Tour
This day trip from Dublin takes you through the heart of County Wicklow, with a mix of formal gardens, mountain roads, and ancient history. Powerscourt House and Gardens is the first stop, a Palladian estate with 47 acres of grounds.
The route then heads into the mountains, stopping at Sally Gap and Lough Tay (Guinness Lake) before arriving at Glendalough. Founded by St Kevin in the 6th century, Glendalough is one of Ireland’s most important early Christian sites, set in a glacial valley with two lakes and walking trails.
From 65 EUR per person. Duration approximately 8 hours. Departs Dublin city centre. Lunch in Enniskerry at own expense. Entry to Powerscourt House at own expense.
