About This Tour
This private tour from Dublin covers four major heritage sites in the Boyne Valley, all within around an hour of the city. You travel in your own vehicle with a driver-guide, and the tour is limited to six people.
Newgrange is the highlight, a Neolithic passage tomb predating Stonehenge by 600 years, aligned with sunrise at the winter solstice. The Hill of Slane follows, where St Patrick famously lit the Easter fire in 433 AD. Monasterboice is one of Ireland’s finest early Christian sites, with the beautifully carved High Cross of Muiredach.
Price reflects shared group rate. Duration approximately 8 hours. Private transport and driver-guide included. Ticket to Newgrange included. Hotel pickup and drop-off in Dublin. Lunch at own expense.
