This day tour uses the train rather than a coach from Dublin. You depart from Heuston Station at 07:30, arrive in Galway, and transfer to a waiting coach that heads west into Connemara.
The route takes you to Leenane on Killary Harbour, Ireland’s only fjord, and on to Kylemore Abbey with its Victorian walled garden. The Inagh Valley follows, with the Twelve Bens and Maamturks mountain ranges on either side. There’s time for shopping and photos along the way before returning along the northern shores of Galway Bay.
From 149 EUR per person. Departs Monday to Saturday. Train from Dublin Heuston at 07:30, returning around 21:00. All admission fees and transfers included. Meals at your own expense.
