Ancient Irish monastic site, Church of Ruadhri, then commandeered by Normans and given to st Thomas Abbey before Henry VIII handed it over to current encombents ancestor, William Brabazon for numerous battle victories in purstuir of the estab;lishment of protestantism, largely against Irish Lords, Brabazon is seen as the catalyst for the systematic destruction of the Ancient Gaelic order. (5 min)
  2. Built by Powerscourts shortly before the great hunger. (pass by)
  3. Powerscourt, originally ownerd by native IRish Kavanagh, and McMurraghs, then taken by force by Normans, de Poer, Powerscourt name comes from, then stolen by Cromwell, given to current encumbents’ ancestor, Richard Wingfield. (15 min)
  4. Lough Tay or the Guinness lake! (10 min)
  5. One of the earliest monastic settlements in Ireland (30 min)
