Itinerary

1. After leaving Dublin it takes approximately 1 hr to reach Newgrange where, you’ll get to visit and explore the one of the oldest burial sites in the world. Soak up the spiritual air as you are educated in the megalithic world of Newgrange. Admission into Newgrange is €18 and must be pre booked online https://brunaboinne.admit-one.eu/ (240 min)
2. Visit the very site where St. Patrick stood and lit a mighty fire in defiance of proclaiming Christianity. Visit the ruins of the Abbey and Church that once was a prominent building . Time at this site is 20 minutes.

(45 min) 3. Trim Castle is one of the most picturesque and impressive castles in Ireland. Situated in the heart of Trim heritage town. Discover the kingdom of Hugh Delacy while engulfing this enormous site that took 30 years to complete. (45 min) 4. We recommend stopping at the snailbox restaurant for lunch. Although lunch is not covered it the cost you can choose from a variety of classic dishes served to you by the best and friendly staff. The Snailbox is known for its collection of baseball caps, over 5000 caps hanging from the ceiling. Bring along one of your own personal caps and the staff will gladly swap it for a new ” Snailbox” baseball cap. (120 min) 5. The hill of Tara is the most historical and prominent site in Ireland. All 5 roads from the provinces of Ireland, lead to the Hill of Tara. Touch the stone of destiny which cried out when the true king touched it. Over 142 kings were had their coronation at this site. It was the site where St Patrick thought the pagan Druids Christianity. See the most photographed statue of St. Patrick as he holds the 3 leaf clover aloft.
