About This Tour

This is a very personal, fun, private tour of Dublin city. We will walk through city and marvel at some of Dublin’s most famous sites, as well as a number of not so well known sites. This is a great tour if you want to learn about the amazing history of Dublin with a local qualified guide. I want this tour to feel like you are walking through the city with an old friend and learning a lot as we go. There will be fun stories, sad tales and amazing times.

Itinerary

  1. Visit the birthplace of modern Ireland and the scene of the 1916 rising. (10 min)
  2. Hear about Irish folklore at this beautiful memorial. (15 min)
  3. Shopping street (pass by)
  4. Hear about Daniel O’Connell, an Irish hero. (5 min)
  5. The world famous Trinity College. Please note this does not include admission to the Book of Kells (10 min)
  6. Walk through the buzzing Temple Bar district (15 min)
  7. We will end out tour with a walk through the historic grounds of Dublin Castle (10 min)

Meeting point: The tour begins at the gate of the Garden of Remembrance.
