Itinerary

1. Private car transfers with pickup and drop-off service at your Dublin accommodation (30 min)

This option includes a 45-minute castle tour with a guide that will introduce you to the 800 years history of the Malahide Castle and the Talbot family, who lived here for generations. The interiors will surprise you with a variety of architectural styles, elegant decor and antique furniture that tell a story of Ireland’s nobility. Highlights include the prestigious Oak Room with carved wooden panels. and the Great Hall, which displays the history of the Talbot family. (120 min)
3. After the castle tour you will still have a lot of time to explore the famous gardens of the Malahide Castle. Follow the special Fairy Trail to discover magical creatures and fairytales. (30 min)
4. Visit the Butterfly House to learn about butterflies, you’re in the domain of the most colorful creatures on earth. Watch them fly among tropical plants and spot their individual traits and markings. With over 20 species of butterfly housed at Malahide. (30 min)
