Itinerary

  1. We start our tour with a visit to the oldest and most prestigious University in Ireland to experience its past & present History. (20 min)
  2. A change in tome as we stroll through the main spots of the bustling riverside neighborhood of Temple Bar. (20 min)
  3. Almost 1000 years and originally a Viking Church we will learn about its long history as Dublin’s oldest working structure. (20 min)
  4. Built in 1204 By King John (bad guy from Robin Hood) the Castle is now a major attraction of great historical importance. We will pass through its Gardens and stop for photos (entrance additional time and on request). (20 min)
  5. A eligant eighteenth century townhouse originally inhabited by a member of the Irish house of lords and now a specialty shopping centre (20 min)
  6. Victorian shopping arcade George’s Street Arcade. George’s Street Arcade is a unique jewel in the Dublin shopping scene with its own very special ambience housing over 40 independent retailers in this ‘not to be missed’ Victorian Arcade. South City Markets was Dublin’s first purpose built Victorian Shopping Centre opened in 1876. (20 min)
  7. A green oasis in the center of this busy city, Stephen’s Green Park has played witness to many of the turbulent episodes of Irish history, with the most famous being role it played in the 1916 Easter Rising. The park itself hosts a large number of important sculptural monuments to Irish history. Many species of birds and plants also call the park their home (20 min)
  8. If choosing the 4-Hour Booking Option your tour will be extended to include Dublin Castle or the Georgian quarter including Merrion Square and Leinster House (parliament) as well as Molesworth Street with houses the government buildings and museum and return to end in the Grafton Street shopping area. (pass by)
