Features
Snug, Whiskey Selection
Kehoe's sits on South Anne Street, a quiet side street just steps from Grafton Street. Step inside and you are in a different century - the front bar is all dark wood, frosted glass screens and brass taps. The snug is one of the most sought-after spots in Dublin, a tiny partitioned booth barely big enough for four.
Upstairs is a larger lounge that fills quickly on weekends. The crowd is a mix of everyone - office workers, tourists who have done their homework, and regulars who have been coming here for decades. There is no music, no television, no gimmicks - just very good pints and the kind of atmosphere you cannot manufacture.
Kehoe's is one of those pubs that features on every best-of list for good reason. The Guinness is consistently excellent, and the building itself is a perfect time capsule of what a Dublin pub should look and feel like.
