Women's Social Golf Community Meetup- 2026

Chip and Chat is a women’s social golf community meetup at Halpenny Golf Driving Range in Swords. The format is social first, golf second: it’s a meetup for women who want to play golf in a non-competitive environment and connect with other women doing the same thing, whether they’ve been playing for years or are just getting started.

Golf participation among women has been growing steadily in Ireland, but the social structures that make the game accessible are often slower to catch up. A dedicated community meetup at a driving range rather than a private club changes the dynamic considerably: there’s no membership required, no dress code pressure, and no assumption that everyone is playing at the same level.

What to expect

7pm Thursday at Halpenny Golf Driving Range in Swords. The driving range format means you can practise at your own pace while talking to other people doing the same. This is the second edition of the meetup, which means there’s already a community forming around it.

All abilities are welcome. The Eventbrite page has any equipment requirements and whether clubs are available to hire at the range.
