WellFest 2026 at Royal Hospital Kilmainham

What to Expect

WellFest is celebrating its 10th birthday in 2026, and they’re pulling out all the stops. Europe’s largest outdoor health, fitness and wellness festival takes over the beautiful grounds of the Royal Hospital Kilmainham across two full days on May 9th and 10th.

With more than 150 experts from Ireland and abroad spread across 15 stages, there’s something here for every corner of the wellness world. The programme runs from high-energy fitness classes and strength training to meditation sessions, sound baths, Pilates, and thought-provoking talks on nutrition and mental health. The WellKids area keeps younger visitors entertained, and the Run Club returns for both days.

Food is taken seriously here too. The festival has a strong track record of bringing quality food vendors on board alongside major wellness brands. First-time visitors are often surprised by just how well organised and joyful the whole thing is.

Getting There

The Royal Hospital Kilmainham is on Military Road, Dublin 8, a 20-minute walk from St James’s Hospital Luas stop on the Red Line. The 13 and 40 Dublin Bus routes stop nearby on James’s Street. There’s some parking available but public transport is strongly recommended given crowds across both days.
