The annual Rose Festival celebrates St Anne’s Park’s magnificent Rose Garden, one of the best in Ireland with over 5,000 roses across dozens of varieties. It’s a gorgeous free weekend event that draws thousands of visitors.
What to Expect
Guided tours of the rose garden led by expert horticulturists, gardening workshops, live music, children’s activities, craft stalls, and food vendors. The roses are typically at their peak in mid-July and the garden looks absolutely spectacular.
The weekend has a relaxed, village fete atmosphere. It’s brilliant for families, couples, and anyone who appreciates beautiful gardens. The Red Stables nearby host exhibitions and there’s usually art on display.
