Gaiety Theatre
If you remember the 1992 film, you know the premise. A woman advertises for a flatmate, gets one who seems perfect, and then things get very dark very quickly. This bold stage reimagining stars Lisa Faulkner and Kym Marsh, and it promises to captivate, shock, and keep you on the edge of your seat.
What to Expect
Single White Female is one of those stories that taps into a primal fear - what happens when someone you trust turns out to be someone else entirely? The stage version takes the core of that tension and amps it up. The Gaiety’s intimate setting means you’re close enough to feel the atmosphere shift as the relationship between the two women curdles from friendship into something much more sinister.
Lisa Faulkner and Kym Marsh bring serious star power and the chemistry needed to make the central dynamic work. The production runs from March 31 to April 4, giving you a tight window to catch what should be one of the most gripping evenings in Dublin theatre this spring.
This is a modern reimagining rather than a straight adaptation, so even if you know the film inside out, expect surprises.
