Premier League Darts event at 3Arena Dublin

If you’ve never been to a Premier League Darts night, you genuinely don’t know what you’re missing. Forget everything you think you know about darts on the telly. This is one of the best nights out in Dublin, full stop. The 3Arena turns into an absolute carnival, and the Dublin crowd is famously one of the best on the entire Premier League circuit.

What to Expect

The format is simple: the world’s best darts players go head-to-head in a round-robin tournament across Thursday nights in arenas around the UK and Ireland. Dublin is always one of the standout stops on the tour. The crowd comes in fancy dress, the singalongs start before the first dart is thrown, and the atmosphere is borderline insane. You’ll hear 13,000 people belting out “Stand Up for the Dubs” between legs while Luke Littler or Michael van Gerwen are trying to hit double 16.

The actual darts is incredible too. These are the best players on the planet, and the standard at Premier League level is phenomenal. Watching someone average 105 and hit nine-darters from 20 feet away, with thousands of people going berserk around you, is an experience that stays with you. The Dublin leg always delivers. The players love coming here because the crowd brings unreal energy.

Good to Know

Doors open at 6pm, with the first match starting at 7pm. The night usually wraps up around 10:30pm. The 3Arena is fully cashless, so have a card or phone payment sorted for drinks and food. Fancy dress is not required but strongly encouraged. You’ll see everything from banana costumes to full cowboy outfits. Pints flow freely and the queue at the bars can get long, so time your rounds between matches. Tickets start from around €40 depending on the section.

Getting There

The 3Arena is right on the Luas Red Line. The Point stop is at the door. From the city centre, it’s a 20-minute walk along the quays. Dublin Bus 151 and 33 serve the area. If driving, Point Square has parking but it fills up fast. Taxis queue on North Wall Quay after the event. Honestly, take the Luas. It’s the easiest option by far.
