People's Park Market, Dun Laoghaire

The People’s Park Market in Dun Laoghaire is one of Dublin’s most popular Sunday food markets. Set in the lovely Victorian People’s Park, it’s a gorgeous spot for a weekend browse with the added bonus of being minutes from the seafront.

What to Expect

A solid selection of artisan food producers, organic growers, bakers, and hot food vendors. The market draws a good crowd of southside regulars and visitors from across Dublin. You’ll find fresh bread, organic vegetables, farmhouse cheeses, preserves, and excellent coffee.

The hot food options are particularly good here. Grab something to eat and find a bench in the park or walk down to the pier afterwards. It’s a proper Sunday morning ritual for a lot of Dun Laoghaire locals.

Getting There

The People’s Park is on Marine Road in Dun Laoghaire. The DART stops at Dun Laoghaire station, a five-minute walk from the park. Dublin Bus routes 7, 7A, 46A, and 75 all serve the town. There’s pay parking on the surrounding streets and in the harbour car park.
