National Botanic Gardens
The National Botanic Gardens run a programme of workshops, talks, and guided tours through the summer months. Topics range from practical gardening skills to plant science, botanical illustration, and nature photography.
What to Expect
Guided tours of the glasshouses and specialist collections, plant identification walks, composting and sustainable gardening workshops, botanical art classes, and evening talks by visiting experts. Some events are free, others are ticketed (typically around €10-15).
The gardens also host family-friendly nature events during school holidays, including bug hunts, seed planting, and nature trails for kids.
