The Irish Champion Stakes at Leopardstown is one of the most important flat races in the world. A Group 1 contest over ten furlongs, it regularly attracts the best middle-distance horses in training and has been won by legends of the turf.
What to Expect
World-class flat racing on one of the biggest days of the Irish racing year. The Irish Champion Stakes draws horses from the top stables in Ireland, Britain, and France. The supporting card is also top-class with multiple Group races. The atmosphere is electric with big crowds and genuine excitement.
