Josh Groban has one of those voices that stops you in your tracks. Over twenty years and tens of millions of albums sold, he’s carved out a space entirely his own, somewhere between pop, classical, and Broadway. Now the GEMS World Tour brings him back to Dublin.
What to Expect
The GEMS tour is built around Groban’s career-spanning compilation of the same name, which traces his journey from breakthrough debut to global phenomenon. In concert, Groban is a different proposition to most arena acts. The production is polished but warm, the band is exceptional, and that voice fills the 3Arena in a way that genuinely gives you goosebumps.
Expect the big ones: You Raise Me Up, To Where You Are, and Believe, alongside deeper cuts and newer material. He’s also a surprisingly funny stage presence, frequently chatting with the audience between songs and keeping things loose despite the scale of the show. If you’ve seen him before, you know what you’re in for. If you haven’t, you’re in for a treat.
Fresh off a sold-out run at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Groban is touring at the top of his game.
