Jeff Dunham is one of those acts you really need to see live to appreciate. The world’s most famous ventriloquist comedian is bringing his Artificial Intelligence tour to Dublin, and the 3Arena is going to be in stitches.
What to Expect
If you’ve seen Jeff Dunham online, you’ll know the characters: Walter the grumpy retiree, Achmed the Dead Terrorist, Peanut, Bubba J, and the rest of the gang. But watching those routines on a screen doesn’t come close to the experience of seeing him work a massive arena crowd in person. His timing is impeccable, and the way he brings each puppet to life is genuinely jaw-dropping, even when you know how it’s done.
The Artificial Intelligence tour is his latest show, and it leans into all the madness of modern technology through the lens of his beloved characters. Expect fresh material, plenty of crowd interaction, and the kind of belly laughs that leave your sides aching. It’s family-friendly in the broadest sense. Kids will love the puppets, adults will catch the sharper jokes, and everyone leaves grinning.
Dunham has sold out arenas across the world, and with good reason. He’s one of the highest-grossing comedians on the planet, and Dublin audiences always bring a brilliant energy to these big international shows.
Good to Know
Doors open at 6:30pm for a 7:30pm start. The 3Arena is a large venue, so give yourself time to find your seat and grab a drink. Tickets start from €45 and are available through Ticketmaster. It’s a seated show, so your view is guaranteed once you’ve got your ticket.
Getting There
The 3Arena sits on the North Wall Quay in the Docklands. The Luas Red Line runs straight to The Point stop, which drops you practically at the door, and it’s by far the easiest option. If you’re coming by DART, Grand Canal Dock station is a 15-minute walk along the river. Dublin Bus routes 151 and 33 serve the area too. There’s limited parking nearby, so public transport is strongly recommended. On the plus side, the walk back along the quays after a show is a lovely way to wind down.
