IMMA (Irish Museum of Modern Art) is housed in the stunning 17th-century Royal Hospital Kilmainham, and its summer exhibitions are always among the highlights of Dublin’s cultural calendar. Best of all, entry is free.
What to Expect
World-class contemporary art exhibitions in one of Dublin’s most beautiful buildings. IMMA’s programme is ambitious and varied, featuring Irish and international artists working across painting, sculpture, installation, video, and performance. The building and grounds alone are worth the visit.
