Dublin GAA
The Dublin Senior Hurling Championship is where the capital’s best hurlers go toe to toe for the county title. Cuala have been the dominant force in recent years with multiple All-Ireland club titles, but the chasing pack is getting stronger every season.
What to Expect
The championship typically runs from August through to the county final in October/November, after the inter-county hurling season wraps up. When Dublin’s inter-county hurlers return to their clubs and line out alongside their clubmates, the standard is as high as anywhere outside of the traditional hurling heartlands.
Cuala, Kilmacud Crokes, Na Fianna, Ballyboden St Endas, Faughs, and Lucan Sarsfields are the clubs to watch. The group stages produce cracking games, and the knockout rounds at Parnell Park are brilliant evenings out.
