Dublin Literary Pub Crawl
The Dublin Literary Pub Crawl is one of the city’s great cultural experiences. Two professional actors lead you through the pubs associated with Dublin’s literary giants, performing extracts from Joyce, Beckett, Wilde, Behan, and more along the way.
What to Expect
This is not a boozy pub crawl. It’s a genuinely entertaining and educational tour that brings Dublin’s literary heritage to life. The actors perform scenes and readings in the actual pubs where these writers drank, argued, and wrote. You’ll visit four or five pubs over about two and a half hours, stopping for a drink at each one.
The tour covers the big names - Joyce, Beckett, Wilde, Yeats, Behan - but also lesser-known writers and stories. The actors are excellent and the format works brilliantly.
