Dublin Flea
The Dublin Flea Market at Newmarket Square is one of the best markets in the city. Running monthly, it brings together vintage clothing dealers, antique sellers, record collectors, artists, craft makers, and street food vendors in the atmospheric setting of Newmarket Square in the Liberties.
What to Expect
The market has a proper flea market feel - you’re as likely to find a 1970s leather jacket as you are a first-edition book or a vintage synthesiser. The traders are a mix of regulars and one-off sellers, so the selection changes every month. Street food stalls keep you fed while you browse, and there’s usually live music adding to the atmosphere.
Good to Know
- Monthly event, usually the last Sunday of the month
- Free entry
- Cash and card accepted at most stalls
- Gets busy around lunchtime - arrive early for the best finds
- Newmarket Square is an open-air space - weather dependent
Getting There
Newmarket Square is in the Liberties, a 15-minute walk from Dame Street. Dublin Bus routes 49 and 54A serve the area. The nearest Luas stop is Fatima on the Red Line.
