Dublin’s Lunar New Year Festival has grown into one of the biggest cultural celebrations in the city’s calendar. The festival brings together Dublin’s Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, and other Asian communities for a week of events that include traditional performances, food markets, workshops, and the spectacular city centre parade.
What to Expect
The highlight is the parade through Dublin’s city centre, featuring dragon dances, lion dances, martial arts demonstrations, traditional music, and colourful floats. Around the parade, the festival programme includes food events, calligraphy workshops, film screenings, talks, and performances at venues across the city.
Good to Know
