Di Ferrero is one of the more prominent figures in Brazilian pop-rock. As the former lead singer of NX Zero, he was part of one of Brazil’s most successful rock bands of the 2000s and 2010s before launching a solo career that has continued to build his following across Latin America and among Brazilian diaspora communities worldwide.
Dublin’s Brazilian community is substantial, which means a Di Ferrero show at The Sound House is an event with a ready-made audience. But his music - melodic, emotionally direct rock and pop - also translates across language barriers in a way that makes it accessible to anyone who comes to the show without prior knowledge of the catalogue.
What to Expect
A full live set from Di Ferrero presenting material from across his solo career and, most likely, NX Zero material that his audience will have grown up with. Brazilian pop-rock of this era is anthemic, built for sing-alongs, and live it tends to generate the kind of collective energy in a room that you feel as a physical thing.
The Sound House on Eden Quay is a well-used live music venue right on the north quays of the Liffey. It’s a good fit for an international artist playing to a crowd that knows the songs.
