Deaf Greenbow 30th Anniversary Weekend at Deaf Village Ireland Cabra Dublin

Deaf Greenbow is a social and cultural group within Ireland’s Deaf community that has been running for 30 years. An anniversary weekend marks three decades of community, connection, and the shared experience of navigating Irish life as part of a community that has its own rich culture and language.

The event runs across three days from Friday to Sunday at the Deaf Village Ireland campus in Cabra - a dedicated centre for Deaf services, education, and community in Dublin 7 that has been central to Irish Deaf culture for generations.

What to Expect

A weekend of social events, celebrations, and community gathering for Deaf people and their families and allies. The specifics of the programme are confirmed closer to the date, but a 30th anniversary event of this kind typically includes formal ceremonies, social evenings, entertainment, and opportunities for people who have been part of Deaf Greenbow across the three decades to reconnect.

The Deaf Village Ireland provides an accessible and familiar setting for the community. Irish Sign Language (ISL) will be the primary language of the event.
