Culture Night is one of Dublin’s best nights of the year. For one evening in September, galleries, museums, theatres, studios, historic buildings, and cultural spaces across the city open their doors for free, with special events, performances, and activities running late into the night.
What to Expect
Free access to hundreds of venues and events across Dublin. Galleries stay open late, theatres offer free performances, studios open their doors, historic buildings welcome visitors, and the streets come alive with music, performance, and art. It’s a chance to explore places you’ve never been and experience art forms you’ve never tried.
The sheer variety is what makes Culture Night special. In a single evening you might visit an artist’s studio, catch a poetry reading, see a dance performance, explore a historic building, and end up at a late-night concert.
