What to Expect

BIIRD, the all-female trad supergroup that has taken the Irish music world by storm, returns to Vicar Street for two nights on 15 and 16 May 2026. Made up of 11 of Ireland’s finest musicians, singers, lilters and performers, BIIRD is one of the most exciting and genuinely joyful live acts to emerge from the Irish traditional music scene in years.

After a Late Late Show appearance in early 2025 that sent the internet into a frenzy, BIIRD sold out every date on their debut Irish and UK tour before releasing a single note of recorded music. The demand for these May 2026 dates reflects that extraordinary momentum: this is a band that has created a genuinely ecstatic response from audiences who recognise something special when they hear it.

Getting There

Vicar Street is on Thomas Street in the Liberties, Dublin 8. Luas Red Line to Fatima, then a ten-minute walk. Buses 13, 40 and 123 stop on Thomas Street. Limited street parking nearby; public transport recommended for show nights.
