Autechre are gods of electronic music. Sean Booth and Rob Brown have been pushing the boundaries of what electronic music can be since the early 90s, and their live shows are legendary for their complete darkness (they perform in pitch black) and overwhelming, immersive sound.
What to Expect
An Autechre live show is performed in total darkness. The sound system is everything. Expect dense, intricate, constantly shifting electronic music that surrounds you completely. It’s not a party and it’s not background music. It’s one of the most intense listening experiences available. Not for everyone, but essential for electronic music devotees.
