April Move Night

Rascals Brewery runs a monthly film night at their taproom on Tyrconnell Road, and the April instalment lands on a Thursday evening. The format is consistent and good: craft beer brewed on site, pizza, and a film in the brewery. It’s a more relaxed way to see a movie than a multiplex, and the beer is better.

Rascals is one of Dublin’s better-known craft breweries. They brew on site at Tyrconnell Road, which means what’s on tap is as fresh as it gets. The taproom has space to settle in, and the pizza is proper rather than an afterthought.

The “Great balls of fire” tagline hints at the film pick but check the Eventbrite page for the confirmed title; the brewery occasionally switches things up close to the date.

What to expect

6:30pm start on a Thursday is a good time for this kind of evening: early enough that you’re done at a reasonable hour, relaxed enough that it doesn’t feel like a rush. Come for the film, stay for another pint if the mood is right.
