Andre Rieu doesn’t just perform concerts - he creates events. The Dutch violinist and his 70-piece Johann Strauss Orchestra are returning to the 3Arena, and if you’ve seen him before, you already know this is going to be a night to remember.
What to Expect
Rieu conducts his orchestra and plays his world-famous Stradivarius violin in a show that blends classical music with entertainment in a way that nobody else quite manages. The programme mixes waltzes, popular classics, show tunes, and crowd-pleasers, all delivered with warmth, humour, and genuine skill. He’ll have you laughing one minute and reaching for a tissue the next.
The orchestra is exceptional - 70 musicians who play with precision and passion. Add in the soloists, the special guests, and Rieu’s own infectious enthusiasm, and you’ve got a show that appeals to everyone from classical music devotees to people who just want a great night out. He’s sold over 40 million albums worldwide for a reason.
There’s a second Dublin date on April 11th if this one sells out.
