GAA
The All-Ireland Senior Hurling Final is the pinnacle of the GAA calendar and one of the greatest sporting spectacles on earth. Over 82,000 people pack into Croke Park for an afternoon of speed, skill, and raw emotion that has to be experienced to be believed.
What to Expect
Two counties, a year’s worth of ambition, and 70 minutes to decide who lifts the Liam MacCarthy Cup. Hurling at this level is astonishingly fast - the sliotar travels at over 150km/h, the hits are thunderous, and the skill level is breathtaking. Whether it’s Kilkenny, Limerick, Cork, Clare, Galway, Tipperary, or Waterford who make it, the final is always unforgettable.
Croke Park on All-Ireland final day is Dublin at its absolute best. The city turns into a sea of county colours, the atmosphere inside the ground is spine-tingling, and the roar when the teams run out is something you’ll never forget.
